Annual dues are due before the new year begins. After 31 December our annual dues are considered overdue. SWS does provide a grace period for dues payment that extends until the end of January but by paying your dues on time you help us have an accurate count of our membership for the coming year. 

LATE DUES PAYMENT - MAKING PAYMENT AFTER 31 JANUARY: Membership Dues are paid to cover the period from 1 Jan – 31 Dec of each year. Dues unpaid by the 1st of January are overdue. Individuals who have not paid their dues by the 31st of January (grace period) will be removed from membership. Individuals that are current on their dues payments are considered active members. Individuals with unpaid dues are considered inactive members. When the grace period expires these individuals are dropped from membership. For the three month period following the date when an individual is dropped from membership (1 February through 30 April) that individual may regain membership by making full payment of the dues and an added payment (as determined by the board) for reinstatement of membership.

NOTES:
1) Annual Dues Payments are increasing to $40 effective beginning for the 2024 membership period. 
2) Reinstatement fees do not include a new membership badge.
3) After 30 April of the year the individual is dropped from membership, that prior member may be required to show proof of prior points earned toward signature membership to gain/regain signature status. After 30 April the individual is removed entirely from the membership list. And the individual must reapply for membership as a new member. SWS Board Policy Number #5 (Jan 2023)
4) A 2 two dollar service fee is added if paying by internet. Dues paid by check should be mailed to SWS/Treasurer, Valorie Woelk at 14122 East Eistrup Road, Elk, WA 99009.
