​ New Member Application

Instructions

The application process consists of submitting an application either on-line (as Option 1) or by mail  (as Option 2) and by making payment either on-line (as Option 1) or by mail (as Option 2)
This is a two part process and you are not a member until both parts are completed.  
​ The online submission is most popular and is provided below. The Mail in option is provided further down, below the online option. 

THE COST TO JOIN:   The total charge for a new member to join Spokane Watercolor Society is $67  ($65 if paid by check). You will be paying a one-time  organization processing fee. This fee (currently $25) covers charges for processing your form, getting you access to our members website information, access to the Newsletter, Mail Chimp Reminders and your name tag. To join you will also be charged for annual dues which currently are $40.  Annual fees cover such things as meeting costs, artist demonstration costs and show/workshop discounts. 

You can also elect to join by mailing in your application. You can download the form located  on this page below the on-line form, complete it and mail it in  along with your payment to the address as indicated.   (NOTE: Those who pay by mailing a check are not considered as members until the check is processed by the bank.)

New Members: After we receive your application information and payment
Our membership chairperson will contact you within a few days - most likely by email. You will receive information about us and we will ask you to select up to three examples of your work (even if you're not yet painting in watercolor - show us what you do!).  Make sure your jpg images are clear, cropped and 2MB or larger files. Please put your name in the subject line of the email and send to [email protected].   You will be introduced to our membership at a meeting where you can tell us a little bit about yourself, and your images shared. We are excited to meet you!
