Kelly Knouff-Burk is a watercolor artist based in Deer Park, Washington. Originally from Ohio, she completed her Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design at Ohio State University. She worked at a publishing company and has done some free lance design work. After retirement from her second career as a registered nurse, Kelly has refocused on developing her watercolor skills. Her best loved subjects are animals and landscapes. She has been successful in showing her work locally and has achieved a signature membership status in Spokane Watercolor Society. She has served on the SWS board and been active in different roles within the group.

"My paintings are created with the intention of sharing the beauty and character of the subject with the viewer.With the transparent and often unpredictable nature of watercolor, the results can be magical and better than reality.
