My name is Krystal Raiann Gallegos, and I’m a local traditional and digital artist in Spokane. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and decided to pursue art full time in 2022. I teach watercolor painting at a local retirement home, participate as a vendor in many local events selling my work, and do pet portrait commission work throughout the year. The beauty of our local wildlife is something that inspires much of my work. When I’m not painting I’m often out hiking and birding, and photographing wildlife for future paintings.

As an artist I strive to capture the beauty and emotion I experience in life. I love many different mediums, but mainly work in gouache, watercolor, and digital drawing. Most often my subject matter revolves around animals, nature, and visual expressions of my inner thoughts and struggles. With my art I hope to spread some light and joy, and celebrate the beauty of creation.
