Sarah Koka

Bio
As a passionate watercolor artist and advocate for creative expression, I bring a unique perspective shaped by years of leadership in healthcare and community engagement. I first encountered art as therapy working in residential care for people living with severe mental illness. Since then, I have been an advocate for using art as therapy and as an expression of how we each see and experience life. My professional experience has honed skills in information technology, managing multi-million dollar budgets, strategic planning, collaboration, and fostering inclusive environments. These are qualities I am eager to contribute to the watercolor society. Outside of my career, watercolor painting has been a source of joy and mindfulness, and I'm committed to supporting programs that inspire artists and strengthen our community.
