Artist Statement
As a child I had the benefit of knowing professional artists personally. It was their love of process and ongoing learning that inspired me most. Sculptor Glen Michaels originally from Spokane, was the artist who introduced me to the joy of watercolor. After having lessons with him briefly he became an important mentor and friend. I strive to share wonder and the essence of whatever I have the opportunity to paint with those who see my work.
